The LAFM awards will be hosted for the first time in 2023, and will serve as the annual celebration of success, progress, and achievement within the Lab Management community. Honoring 6 years of supporting and
applauding those shaping the lab ops field, this is your opportunity to have a say as we celebrate
the very best the industry has to offer.
It is holistically understood that there’s an accelerating burst of activity where biopharma sites are being developed globally: Novo Nordisk invests €470m in Embark Biotech’s pipeline, Pfizer expands in Rockland County, New York, and GSK opens one of it’s new vaccination centres in Uruguay.
It is because of this buzz in activity we’d like to give back to the LAFM community who work tirelessly on developing secure foundations for their scientists to perform.

Nominate someone who has gone above & beyond for their company, team or scientists in 2023
Lab Innovation or Innovator of the Year 2023
Nominate a person, product, company, solution or team whose been at the forefront of innovation in 2023
Green Lab Leader 2023
Nominate someone or some company whose made a real impact towards an environmentally friendly lab in 2023

How does the Awards nomination process work?
* Submit your nominations (open to all LAFM attendees & community members), which will then be narrowed down to shortlist the top 10 nominations per category – please submit a proposal as to why you have nominated that person, team, or company
* The judges will then score the proposals, and reach an agreement on the winners and runners-up
* The Awards will be presented at the 6th LAFM Summit Awards ceremony, on Wednesday 29th November
Rules of the Awards:
* Each person can only nominate once per category
* Anyone can vote for any person/company
* Anyone that is seen to be voting multiple times will have their votes discounted
